Classical Studies in Italy~Greece~Turkey

Several programs have been outlined with focus on ancient cultures in Italy, Greece and Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). Each program includes visits to archeological sites where presentations are made on classical urban life, political and religious institutions, and architectural forms. In addition, expert guided visits to museums are made—with focus on the development of classical art. Epigraphic artifacts are noted in both archeological and museum settings. In Italy, highlights include the Roman Forum, Pantheon, Nero’s Palace, Ostia Antica and Pompeii. In Greece, highlights include the Parthenon, Agora, Delphi and Olympia. In Turkey, highlights include Aphrodisias, Ephesus and Pergamon. Programs can be customized and/or combined for visits to multiple countries.
